Milkbasket, India’s first ‘micro-delivery service’, has raised an additional $7 million as part of its Series A funding led by US-based Mayfield Advisors.
This brings Milkbasket's total Series A funding to $14 million and includes participation from existing investors -- Kalaari Capital, BeeNext, Unilever Ventures and Blume. CNBC-TV18’s Syna Dehnugara caught up with Milkbasket co-founder Anant Goel to discuss the company's fund utilisation plans and the competition coming from BigBasket which is launching its own daily top-up grocery service soon.
