The 12th edition of the biennial Aero India 2019 air show took off on February 20 with a dazzling flying display of military and civilian aircraft at the Indian Air Force's (IAF) Yelahanka base.
In all, 61 aircraft are participating at the air show, including 31 in flying display and 30 in static display on the tarmac of the air base.
The five-day biennial air show will continue till February 24.
CNBC-TV18's Syna Dehnugara caught up with Anand Stanley, president, Airbus India; Phil Shaw, chief executive, Lockheed Martin India; Sanjay Jaju joint secretary, DIP; Vikram Singh, senior advisor, USISPF; Sreeja Nag, senior research scientist, NASA-BAERI and Suyog Joshi CEO, Neewee, at Aero India Show 2019 where they discussed about innovation in aerospace and defence space.
