There has been a record early voter turnout in the US, with just six days remaining for the 2020 presidential election. More than 75 million votes have been cast so far and 39 states have already topped 2016 early voting levels.
There seems to be massive surge among young voters, with at least 6 million of them being in the 18 to 29 age group.
The New York Times has reported that the record surge may lead to a delay in declaring the results.
According to a CNN poll, Joe Biden is in a firm lead by 12 percentage points as 54 percent of the voters supporting him, while 42 percent are in favour of Donald Trump.
