Vodafone Idea hosted an analyst meet on Wednesday to discuss third-quarter financial results and here are the key highlights of the meet:
- The company said it expects to achieve a cumulative EBITDA of Rs 20,000 crore over the next eight quarter. So currently, the Q3 – the last available EBITDA was about Rs 660 crore. If one analyses it, they are still coming out with an EBITDA of Rs 5,500 crore and over the eight quarters, it would be an EBITDA of about Rs 11,000-12,000 crore if one takes the current EBITDA.
- However, they are expecting this EBITDA number to improve to Rs 20,000 crore on the back of network synergies, a minimum recharge voucher as well as an accelerating shift from 2G to 4G.
- The big concern is the debt on the company’s books and on that, the company said that they are adequately funded for the next two years. There will be that equity infusion of Rs 25,000 crore which the management has already planned.
