Young Innovators Summit: Satya Nadella says everyone should learn coding

Everyone should learn coding irrespective of whether they are studying computer science, history or literature. It is a core skill," that's the word came from Satya Nadella, the chief executive officer at Microsoft.

Speaking at the Young Innovators Summit in Delhi on Wednesday, Nadella talked about how technology will play an important role in transforming education ecosystem.

'Young Innovators Summit' brought together over 250 students and educators in Delhi. Young minds showcased their technology-powered ideas and apps designed to address pressing issues such as health, pollution and organ donation. A 13-year-old girl impressed Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella with her ed-tech idea.

Namya Joshi, a girl from Ludhiana, who has been helping teachers of her school convert regular lessons and textbooks into interactive ‘Minecraft’ sessions.
