Being the world's most customer-centric company, Amazon values the privacy of its customers very much and protecting them will be forever the number one priority, said Werner Vogels, chief technology officer, Amazon.
At the minimum, you should protect the family information of your customers as well as your critical business data, Vogels said.
"In our case, our customers buy things and protecting their private information is paramount, without that we don't have a business. It takes a long time to establish trust with your customers, it takes a micro-second to lose that trust," Vogels told CNBC-TV18.
On Alexa, he said it is going to be the way how people are accessing digital systems in the future because it is so natural.
"All the things that we are used to now, whether it is your smartphone, your computer or your tablet, they all have the same interface - namely a screen, a keyboard and a mouse," Vogels added.
