After seeing a weak advertisement environment post the new tariff order (NTO), media and entertainment company Viacom18 said it's bullish on the festive period.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Ankita Saxena, Sudhanshu Vats, group chief executive officer and managing director, said, "The adoption of NTO in the country has by and large been very encouraging."
"If I was to give you a headline from the data we see, we are seeing about a third of Indians are choosing their own pack – between 30 and 35 percent. Subscription revenues have grown quite handsomely in the quarter which went by. We have seen upwards of 50 percent growth in subscription revenue," he added.
