Startup Street: Portea provides COVID-19 services, Lenovo doubles focus on SMBs

Even as services in hospitals have improved, post-hospitalisation healthcare continues to be fledgling and people who look for care at home, especially outside metros, often have to run from pillar to post in search of a dependable service provider. Meena Ganesh decided to address this gap through her health-tech startup Portea Medical. Founded in 2013, Portea Medical claims to provide hospital-quality healthcare to patients in the comfort of their homes. Ganesh, its co-founder, MD and CEO,  is in conversation with Shruti Mishra.

Last-mile logistics direct-to-consumer startup Pidge claims to be an on-demand, instant delivery and radius-free service. Currently operational in Delhi- NCR, Pidge has roped in over 80 businesses including the online pharmacy Pharmarack, online pet store Pets Sutra, Taj Group of hotels to name a few. The Pidge's edge lies in its sanitised and tamper-proof packaging for delivery, which the startup claims to fulfill within 60 minutes. Its founder Ratnesh Verma spoke to CNBC-TV18’s Megha Vishwanath and Mugdha Variyar.

Lenovo is doubling down on its focus on small businesses and startups, and has launched an array of solutions, especially as Solutions for Small Business (SMBs) face challenges in the COVID era. To discuss this and also to talk about the launch of a new product, Lenovo India CEO Rahul Agarwal spoke to CNBC-TV18.
