Startup Street: Lightspeed's OKCredit bet and Nielsen's ecommerce index

In this episode, Startup Street brings together Lightspeed India partners along with their portfolio startup OKCredit. Founded in 2017, OkCredit helps small merchants digitize their book of accounts and keep a record of their credit and transactions.

CNBC-TV18's Mugdha Variyar spoke to Harsha Kumar, partner at Lightspeed India and Harsh Pokharna, chief executive officer of OKCredit to understand how the SME space looks like and what the startup is betting on.

Market researcher Nielsen has launched its first e-commerce index as the company says the channel cannot be ignored for FMCG sales. Nielsen predicts that ecommerce will grow to a share of 5 percent by 2022 in FMCG sales. Mugdha Variyar spoke to Prasun Basu, president for South Asia zone to discuss the new report and asked him if India's figures would ever catch up to those of China and South Korea.
