Startup Street: How has ban on Chinese apps impacted the Indian short-video content players? Experts discuss

It's been a month since India banned 59 Chinese apps on June 29 citing national security concerns. The ban included the likes of Tik-Tok, Cam-Scanner, and Club-Factory to name a few. However this ban was a shot in the arm for the domestic players in these segments, they saw a surge in downloads and usage. To take stock of the trends seen by some of these home-grown short-video content players, Startup Street spoke to Berges Malu of Sharechat, Shivank Agarwal Co-Founder of Mitron, and Sumit Ghosh Co-Founder of Chingari.
