Startup Street: Experts discuss BharatPe’s growth blueprint and GFS Accelerator India program plans

Merchant payments company, BharatPe today announced that it has become the third largest player in the merchant UPI payment acceptance space.

The company has recorded Rs 3,334 crore in transaction value for the month of November, displacing Google Pay from the number 3 position.

The company has also shared that it processed 6.1 crore transactions in November 2020. To know more about the road ahead Startup Street spoke to Ashneer Grover, co-founder & CEO of BharatPe.

Google for Startups Accelerator India is a program that focuses on mentoring early-stage startups that are solving systemic problems in sectors like healthcare, financial inclusion, sustainability, and so on, through use of cutting-edge approaches and technology.

The fourth batch of accelerator which started in August this year, identified 20 startups that were chosen to receive 3 months of virtual mentorship and support from its network of internal and external mentors.

Paul Ravindranath G, program manager, GFS Accelerator, Google India and two startups from the graduating batch - Sai Gole, co-founder and COO, Bharat Agri and Revant Bhate, co-founder & CEO of Mosaic Wellness spoke to Startup Street.
