What is SolidWorks?
Published by Dassault Systèmes, the SolidWorks software is a 3D computer-aided design or CAD software used to create 2D or 3D models.
With over 6 million users, Dassault Systèmes is aiming to build a stronger brand by simply integrating all of its many moving parts to cater to customers of sizes – enterprise or startups.
One such startup is Base 11, a STEM workforce & entrepreneur acceleration company set up in 2009. The company has set up a Base11 Space Challenge, a $1 million competition for students in the United States and Canada to build and launch a liquid-fueled rocket into space.
