There is no better, more substantive proof of that than the fact that the Indian Premier League (IPL), India’s biggest, most valuable media property, will be played starting September 19.

However, the IPL will play out not only in a bio-secure bubble but also against a complex geopolitical backdrop that has queered the pitch for marketers.
