Did you know that men shop more clothes online than women? According to Nielsen’s e- analytics solution, the report studies India's digital shoppers' behaviour.
From 1.9 lakh online users across 52 cities between May and August, according to the report, mobile phones top the list of the most purchased items with 48 percent.
This is followed by fashion items (16 percent) like apparel, footwear, luggage and accessories in the fashion category, men's clothing contributes to 58 percent and women’s online purchases add up to only 36 percent.
Up to 23 percent of sales happen between 8: 00 PM and 11:00 PM. Up to 84 percent of sales happen during 'Big Day Sales' against 16 percent during non-sales days.
