Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Phase 6: Direct fight between BJP, Congress in Haryana

Voting for the sixth phase six of Lok Sabha general elections 2019 has begun. Elections are being held in 59 constituencies in six states and Delhi. CNN-NEWS18's Jyoti Kamal giving a live update from Haryana, where 10 seats are on offer and in most seats it’s a straight contest between the BJP and the Congress.

Rohtak is Haryana is the citadel of the Hoodas, because Deepender Singh Hooda’s father and grandfather had contested and won here but now BJP is trying to make inroads into this stronghold of Hoodas. BJP said they have brought in good governance and they are now seeing a split vote between the Jat vote because of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) split and expect the Jat votes to go to BJP. So far as Congress is concerned they know this is going to be a tough contest.
