Election Townhall: What young voters make of India’s elections

Updated : March 25, 2019 06:59 PM IST

India’s general election is arguably the world’s largest democratic exercise, with about 900 million eligible voters. This is more than Europe and Australia’s voter base combined.

In the last Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Rs 3,400 crore was spent. It may be a larger amount this time, however, much lower when you compare it to the size of the exercise.

With exactly a fortnight left for the next general elections, CNBC-TV18 talks to young voters to know what they make of India’s elections.
