The CNBC-TV18 Election Caravan today drives into the high profile constituency of Nagpur in Maharashtra, which houses the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters.
This time, BJP has fielded union minister for road, transport and highways Nitin Gadkari and taking him on from the Congress is Nana Patole. Interestingly, Patole was with the BJP till 2017.
Gadkari spoke with CNBC-TV18's Archana Shukla and said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will secure an absolute majority at the centre. Patole, meanwhile, alleged that the green buses ply on the roads of Nagpur only to promote Gadkari's sugar factories.
