The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Sudarshan Sukhani on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Voltas, Aurobindo Pharma, Axis Bank, NIIT Technologies, Coal India, Dr Reddys, V-Guard, Bharat Forge, Delta Corp, Reliance Industries, Axis Bank.

Recommending more specific stocks ideas, Sukhani said, “Dr Reddys is a buying opportunity. That stock is outperforming the pharmaceutical sector as well as the broad market and that should continue. After a long time V-Guard is coming into a buy. V-Guard was the star of yesteryears and after a deep correction and a protracted consolidation it is coming back into momentum. So, V-Guard and Dr Reddys are buying opportunities. Bharat Forge which is in a bear market now is a short sell for the day.”

Speaking about the individual stock ideas, Sukhani said, “I am being a little upbeat today. So I have a long list of buying ideas, mostly midcaps. Starting with Voltas where a trading range for almost two months has been developing, at least for the short term it should break on the upside. Aurobindo Pharma, almost a similar chart. Aurobindo Pharma has been outperforming. A small correction should lead to renewed uptrend. Axis Bank is also a buying opportunity. Axis Bank has been showing strong momentum and I think that momentum should continue. All the trades are for a narrow window of 2-3 days or today. NIIT Technologies is a buy. That stock has been outperforming and should continue. I have one short sell intraday, Coal India. “
