The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Sudarshan Sukhani on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Vedanta, Shriram Transport, Bharat Forge, Infosys, Zee Entertainment, Sun TV, Ceat, Escorts, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Jubilant Foodworks, NIIT Technologies, Cholamandalam Finance, Indiabulls Housing.

Recommending more specific stocks ideas, Sukhani said, “Jubilant Foodworks is a buying opportunity. Again, it is only for the day, do not push your luck. NIIT Technologies is a buy. Midcap IT is doing relatively better and perhaps that should continue.”

“A short sell, Cholamandalam Finance, that is a positional short. You could carry it for a few days,” he added.

Speaking about the individual stock ideas, Sukhani said, “It is mostly selling because we are anticipating a short term bottom and the selling is clearly visible. Starting with metals, I have been bearish on metals for some time and that bearishness continues. Vedanta is a short sell. It is a positional short. NBFCs are all coming into play on the short side. Shriram Transport Finance is a short sell. Again, both positions can be carried if you are willing to take a post Budget view. Bharat Forge is a short sell. The stock has collapsed and it is coming in my short list every day and everyday there are gains on the short side.”

“I have one buying idea and that is Infosys. Perhaps the IT stocks may find some kind of a rally today,” he added.
