Sudarshan Sukhani on February 6: Buy Infosys, Siemens; Sell Ultratech Cement

Updated : February 06, 2019 12:13 PM IST

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Sudarshan Sukhani on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Interglobe Aviation, Piramal Enterprises Ltd (PEL), Bajaj Finance, Cummins India, Godrej Industries, Infosys, Siemens, Ultratech Cement, Punjab National Bank.

Recommending specific stocks, Sukhani said, “Infosys is a buying opportunity and I think apart from Tech Mahindra there is traction in Infosys also. Siemens is a buy. Siemens has come down in a deep correction, found support at lower levels and is now bouncing back. So, we are having a classic buy on dips opportunity here. Ultratech Cement is a short sell. That stock has been hammered badly; that continues. It is underperforming in all respects.”

While giving his stock ideas Sudarshan Sukhani said, “It is a confusing market. The market is on a verge of a breakout and it may or may not and then we have the RBI meeting tomorrow. I have midcaps for buying. IndiGo is a buying opportunity so is Piramal Enterprises (PEL). PEL is making a very attractive pattern. It is testing lower lows and bouncing from there that is a positional buy as. Bajaj Finance is also outperforming. Two short sells Cummins India which is finding resistances at higher levels and now entering into a downtrend and Godrej Industries which is trading at lows.”
