Rajat Bose on January 3: Buy REC; Sell Federal Bank

Updated : January 03, 2019 01:06 PM IST

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Rajat Bose on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Dollar Industries, KNR Constructions, NMDC, Federal Bank, REC.

Recommending specific stock ideas, Bose said, “Sell Federal Bank January contract, stop loss should be placed above Rs 94.50 and target would be Rs 91 and Rs 88.50. Federal Bank after moving up quite strongly and having retested the highs yesterday, today it is actually sleeping and it is likely to sleep in this correction to about Rs 88 levels. REC is a buy. Today it is showing some strong movement. I would put a stop loss below Rs 119.75; chances are that you will see it hitting Rs 125 or higher levels. Rs 125 and Rs 126.50 are the two targets.”

“I have one sell call in the future segment. NMDC January futures I would like to sell with a stop above Rs 95.10, target should be Rs 91.80 and Rs 88.90, it is breaking down so chances are these targets should be met sooner than later and two midcap stocks, Dollar Industries – looks pretty good, stop loss should be below Rs 323 and target would be Rs 340 and Rs 345 and KNR Constructions. This is defying the market on the downside and maintaining steady strength on the upside. Target should be Rs 235 and Rs 239 and stop loss should be below Rs 221. KNR can easily go much beyond Rs 239,” he said.
