Pramod Gubbi, co-founder, Marcellus Investment Managers, in an interview with CNBC-TV18 shared his views on the outlook for the market.
"It is more likely that the market would remain range bound. A bigger correction would depend on how some of the global factors playout and most investors don’t have a grip on what is going to happen, particularly with regards to central banks and their actions in terms of where liquidity is headed," Gubbi said.
Locally, as well given the uncertainty due to elections, investors would prefer to remain on the sidelines, he said, adding that it would be unlikely that there would be a breakout on the upside.
"At the portfolio level, the house has a marketcap agnostic strategy and try to be bottom-up. About 70 percent of the portfolio is largecaps and remaining is midcaps,” Gubbi added.
