Updated : January 04, 2019 12:58 PM IST

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Prakash Gaba on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Dabur India, Jet Airways, Divis Laboratories, Jain Irrigation Systems, Bharat Electronics, GIC.

Recommending specific stock ideas, Gaba said, “Bharat Electronics looks good to me. It can climb to levels closer to around Rs 92, it is closer to that so I would modify the target to Rs 93 and also modify the stop loss to below Rs 90. I like GIC also. GIC is certainly looking good, target on the upside is in the vicinity of Rs 270, stop below Rs 258.”

“Dabur looks like a good buy here, yesterday it held on despite the market closing down and I would say that Dabur can climb to around levels closer to Rs 435 zones plus, stop below Rs 415 should be fine. I have three sells, I will go with Jet Airways, would have a hard landing here. Possible target on the downside will be Rs 235, stop above Rs 256. Divis Laboratories is another stock that looks weak to me, seen a sideways move, perhaps a slide to around Rs 1,400 is possible, stop above Rs 1,560 and finally Jain Irrigation too looks weak. Target on the downside Rs 61, stop above Rs 66,” he said.
