Updated : January 14, 2019 01:02 PM IST

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Prakash Gaba on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Equitas, Yes Bank, Apollo Hospital, BEML & Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited.

Speaking about individual stocks, Gaba said, “I have two stock both on the short sides, one is BEML look certainly weak, it is broken down. Look like it is heading down BEML and the target on the down side could be on the vicinity of Rs 850-840 zones. Could slide their stop above Rs 900 on BEML should be fine. It has gone up a lot and is more of profit booking coming in here. Second stock that looks weak to me is M&M Financial, possibly target is around Rs 425 and stop above Rs 448.”

He also said, “I will go short on Equitas. That looks weak to me and possible target on the downside on Equitas around Rs 115 or even lower. So it is weak certainly and I would put a stop above Rs 120 and trade short on Equitas. Long stock that is bucking the trend is Yes Bank. We could possibly see an up move here. So far we have seen a lot of good buying out here. Possible target on Yes Bank is in the vicinity of Rs 195 zones, stop below Rs 185.”
