Updated : February 07, 2019 11:22 AM IST

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Mitessh Thakkar on what is moving the markets today.

He also spoke at length on CESC, Cipla, PNB Housing Finance, Hindalco Industries, Sun Pharmaceutical, Hero Motocorp, Amara Raja Batteries, Tata Motors, DCB Bank, Reliance Communications.

Talking about stock picks Mitessh Thakkar said, "I have a buy on Tata Motors that is a conditional buy. If its breaks above Rs 185-186 it will give a good reversal. Buy then with a stop at Rs 181 for targets of Rs 197. DCB Bank despite the fact that we have policy coming up I think the individual charts are very strong so there is a good chance of it heading towards targets of Rs 186 buy with a stop at Rs 178 is what I would recommend here.”

“CESC has a very strong price and volume break out that is a buy with a stop at Rs 716 for a first target of Rs 755. Cipla is a buy with a stop at Rs 527 target of Rs 548. I also have a buy on Hindalco where the intraday charts are positive so keep a very tight stop at Rs 207 look for a mild rally to about Rs 219 levels. PNB Housing Finance is another buy call. It is a buy with a stop at Rs 918 for targets of Rs 995.”
