Mitessh Thakkar on December 6: Buy HCL Tech, & Tata Power; Sell Eicher Motors, & Petronet LNG

Updated : December 06, 2018 10:33 AM IST

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Mitessh Thakkar on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about Eicher Motors, Petronet LNG, HCL Technologies, Tata Power, Bharat Forge, Ashok Leyland, Reliance Industries, Amara Raja Batteries.

Speaking about individual stock ideas, Thakkar said, “Eicher Motors is starting some kind of negative expansion. So sell with a stop at Rs 23,100 and look for targets close to about Rs 22,000. Petronet LNG is a sell. It has broken down from a consolidation; keep a stop at Rs 213.50 and look for targets of Rs 202. HCL Technologies has given some kind of a positive breakout. So try to buy it on the gap down around Rs 1,045; that would be a good entry. Keep a stop at Rs 1,030 and look for targets of Rs 1,075. Tata Power is coming back to its support levels of breakout. So around Rs 79.50-80 would be good levels to buy. Keep a stop just below Rs 78 and look for a target of Rs 85-86 on the upside.”
