Suveer Chainani, chief executive officer, Institutional Clients Group, Emkay Global on Friday said that market has some structural issues.
Chainani said it was a weak week, "There are periods when things are not that great and periods when things are great. So, it is part and parcel of life. Just when the cycles are turning, we always think cyclical is structural so I am not that gloomy, we are not that gloomy rather."
"The structural problem is in the real estate and the residential real estate. It is a cycle, things go up and things go down and then they go back up. But the question is that that cycle might last a little bit more. The whole topic of subvention schemes, financing, real estate purchases, etc. these are cycles and they will come and go. Cycles might last a little longer," he added.Disclaimer: The views and investment tips expressed by investment experts on CNBCTV18.com are their own and not that of the website or its management.
