Siddharth Bothra, Motilal Oswal AMC said, he is positive on the insurance sector and does not see any merit in moving from private sector banks to PSU banks.
Going forward the largecaps will continue outperforming the midcaps for a while, he said.
“So there could be some more mean reversion happening wherein largecaps will do better,” he said.
Talking about the overloading norms in the commercial vehicle space, he said "It could be positive for the transport players, the freight players and CV financials but not so positive for the manufacturers in near-term because it could demand in next 3- 6 months."
The crude headwind would impact all the aviation stocks at least in the near-term, he said and in long-term when oil stabilises maybe some players could have a cost advantage.
"So, near-term higher crude price would be negative for the sector," he added.
