As the process of asset resolution has been initiated under NCLT over JP group, it is expected that the company, including the subsidiaries will gain from it.
"The estimated debt of the company is Rs 4,000 to Rs 5000", said SP Tulsian of sptulsian.com.
Jaypee Infratech had defaulted loans worth Rs 526.11 crore taken from IDBI. The Jaypee group, last year, considered selling its assets to reduce debt.
UltraTech Cement, in June 2017, closed the acquisition of cement plants of Jaiprakash Associates for Rs 16,189 crore.
