Sudarshan Sukhani, Mitessh Thakkar and Rahul Shah of Motilal Oswal discusses with Prashant Nair and Ekta Batra their readings and outlook on market technical and F&O side of the market as well as specific stocks and sectors.

They also spoke at length on TVS Motor, Escorts, Bajaj Finance, Biocon, ICIC Bank and Tata Steel.

Sudarshan Sukhani said, “TVS Motor is a short sell. This stock has been an underperformer and that should continue. In the same larger sector Escorts is a short sell, small rally in Escorts that did not find any support there was resistance there. It is now sliding down so there are two short selling ideas while Bajaj Finance that outperformer remains a buying opportunity.”

Rahul Shah’s stock recommendations are, “I have got three long ideas one coming from the pharma space Biocon. After a long consolidation we have seen Biocon again moving towards Rs 650 odd mark so I would go long in Biocon with a stop loss of Rs 622 target of Rs 647. Secondly we have seen corporate banks doing quite well in last 2-3 series and this month star again is ICIC Bank again back to 52 week highs so I feel that one should go long on ICICI Bank with a stop loss of Rs 389 and target of Rs 415. From a metal space we saw some action today in Tata Steel and some long build up also as well so I would go long in Tata Steel with a stop loss of Rs 516 and target of Rs 537.”
