Sudarshan Sukhani of, Rajat Bose of and CA Rudramurthy BV of Vachana Investments discusses with Prashant Nair and Ekta Batra their readings and outlook on market technical and F&O side of the market as well as specific stocks and sectors. They also answered viewer stock queries.

They also spoke at length on ONGC, ITC, Bharat Forge, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Tata Power.

Sudarshan Sukhani stock picks are, “I am buying ONGC, this is a surprise to me because when crude comes down ONGC geos up and it is very unusual. This is not a normal relationship but the market likes ONGC today so for the day I am a buyer in ONGC. I am a buyer in ITC, apparently Reliance of course we have been bullish in the morning also but ITC is contributing to the Nifty’s gains. So for whatever it is worth as an intraday trade look to buy ONGC and ITC and sell Bharat Forge, it is now entering a bear market of its own, bad chart. So three trades only intraday.”

Rajat Bose stock recommendations are, “Yes Bank May Futures, put a stop loss below Rs 172 and expecting Rs 185 and Rs 189 on a short covering rally. This is typically a bounce after a big fall. Disclosure has it that I personally hold Yes Bank in my portfolio. The other stock that I have chosen is HDFC Bank. It is already on a new high, put a stop loss below Rs 2,327 and target would be Rs 2,369 and Rs 2,380.”

CA Rudramurthy stock recommendations are, “PSU Banks looks very strong for me, and lot of open interest addition has been seen on the positive side. Look at buying State Bank of India (SBI) in Futures, target of Rs 320 initially with the stop loss of Rs 304. Punjab National Bank (PNB) also looks very strong, initial targets of Rs 94 with a stop loss of Rs 84 and just to hedge my two long portfolio I am having a short call on Tata Power look a target of Rs 64 with a stop loss of Rs 70.”
