The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Rajat Bose of rajatkbose.com on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.
He spoke at length about Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), RBL Bank, Maruti Suzuki India, Can Fin Homes, ITC, Cummins, BPCL.
Stock specific, Bose said, "I am buying two stocks. Cummins, I would put a stop loss below Rs 732, Rs 749 and Rs 752 are the two targets for Cummins. BPCL, I would put a stop loss below Rs 357, and Rs 365 and Rs 367 are the two targets. I do not have any positions in any of the two stocks."
“I am very bullish on autos. I would say that auto sector – be it two-wheelers or four-wheelers – is actually showing turnaround signs at least in its price movements, may not be in its sales or other fundamental parameters but charts are suggesting that they are on a turnaround path. Maruti is my best bet on the long side. Rs 7,520 is my target for today and Rs 7,424 is my stop loss. I am suggesting a buy. My choice of Rs 7,520 is because Rs 7,525 there is 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) so for today Rs 7,520 target suffices. I have HUL as a buy. I would put a stop loss below Rs 1,727 and Rs 1,755 and Rs 1,773 are the two targets for HUL. It is showing very strong momentum. So I am expecting these levels to be scaled up. In fact, it would even be headed for Rs 1,800 levels. RBL Bank is also a buy. My stop loss is below Rs 673.50. Rs 689 and Rs 692 are the two targets. I have chosen RBL Bank over HDFC Bank because RBL is showing much better traction. Can Fin Homes is a sell. I would put a stop loss above Rs 347 and target would be Rs 339 and the final fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) stock that I intend to sell is ITC. There is a possibility that ITC might retest Rs 300.50 which is my second target and the first target is Rs 303.25. I would put a stop loss above the stop at Rs 310. So my stop loss is Rs 310.25,” he said.Disclaimer:
