Billionaire investor Warren Buffet on Thursday said that stocks are always more attractive and will do better over time than bonds.
"Over time, a bunch of businesses that are earning higher returns on capital are going to beat a bond that's fixed at roughly 3 percent," the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway told CNBC.
Buffett, also known as "The Oracle of Omaha," said he is buying stocks this morning. "I rather buy them cheaper but I have been buying stocks since March 11, 1942," he said.
Buffet added that he has bought stocks under every US president.
"Some of the buys were terrific, I don't know when to buy stocks but I know whether to buy stocks," he added.
