It is a buy on dips phenomena in the market, says Oaklane Capital Management

Knowledge is knowing that the ubiquitous tomato is actually a fruit and not a vegetable. Wisdom is knowing, not to put the tomato into a fruit salad.
In this Episode of Wizards of Dalal Street - The Fresh Breeze, Ramesh Damani, Member, BSE, is in conversation with Kuntal Shah of Oaklane Capital Management and Sumeet Nagar of Malabar Investments, wherein they take stock of what has been a tumultuous year for equities.
On panic in the market, Sumeet Nagar said, “I don’t think we have still seen that yet, you did see that after all most two years since demonetisation, it was the first time when good quality companies at least thought to correct and get through reasonable valuations."
But the correction was very short and wasn’t deep enough, he said.
Kuntal Shah said, “The market narrative has changed dramatically and what market is pricing in today is more accommodative policies at the central bank level."
The market has been already oversold in midcaps, he said
"I think there is a sense of optimism creeping in so it is a buy on dips kind of phenomena,” Shah added.
