Amish Shah, India equity strategist at Bank of America Securities (BofA) has written a report on India’s fight against pollution and said country will incur capex of $410 billion from 2015-30 to fight pollution.
Speaking in an interview to CNBC-TV18, he said, "In this report, we have taken a bottom up approach to understanding what is India doing to solve the pollution issue and connected to stocks and sectors.”
“Overall, we have identified 7 themes and 25 sub-themes that’s likely to play out as India fights the pollution," Shah said.
According to him, carbon dioxide emission will reduce by 1.1 billion in India over next 15 years.
