Updated : July 19, 2018 12:09:43 IST

Mriganka Jaipuriar associate editorial director at S&P Global Platts, Chris Midgley head-analytics at S&P Global Platts, Paul Bartholomew senior managing editor at S&P Global Platts and Marc Howson Dir, LNG market development at S&P Global Platts shared their reading and outlook on commodity space.

"If you look at what is happening in the oil markets, if you look at all the pressures governing the oil market at the moment, volatility is going to be the only certainty in the months ahead. I am not entirely surprised by the markets volatile price movement given the United States announcement that it is considering imposing a tariff on addition USD 200 billion worth of Chinese goods and the fact that Libyan exports have resumed, the market is basically reacting, it is a knee-jerk reaction to that." said Mriganka Jaipuriar speaking about crude oil.
