Minimum maturity cap for FPI investment in bond market removed

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has removed the minimum maturity cap for foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) investment in the Indian government securities and state government bonds.

Ashutosh Khajuria, Executive Director of Federal Bank, said that sentimentally a very positive value to it because three years was the minimum maturity.
