Another Rs 45,000 cr of IPO should happen for rest of the year, says ICICI Securities’ Raghwendra Pande

The current fiscal has already seen equity fund raise IPOs, QIPs and offer for sales (OFS) worth over Rs 80,000 crore so far, and there is a visible pipeline of approved offers worth another Rs 25,000 crore or more in the pipeline.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Pranav Haldea, MD of Prime and Raghwendra Pande, EVP at ICICI Securities discussed the appetite to absorb all this equity as well as whether FY21 could go down as a record year on fund raising.

According to Raghwendra Pande, the IPO pipelines are built over a period of time and he is expecting another Rs 45,000 crore of IPO for rest of the year.

Haldea said that there has been a lot of fund raising in the first 4-5 months of this year.
