Indian Railways will install 100-feet tall national flags at 75 busiest railway stations.
The Railway board issued the order on Oct 22, which was then forwarded to the zonal railways. The tricolour will be installed at all the erstwhile 'A1' class railway stations.
7 of the 75 stations are in Mumbai, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj terminus and Mumbai Central.
The concerned authorities have been asked to finish the installations by Dec-end. As per the order, the cost will be charged under the umbrella work of 'soft upgrades improvement at stations.'
