Taher Badshah CIO-Equities Invesco Mutual Fund discussing the way forward for the market and his stock/sector recommendations in an interview to CNBC-TV18 said they are incrementally more constructive than 3-4 months ago and the market correction has offered some decent entry points, said Badshah.
“The whole valuation related burden that investors or fund managers were facing for a long time has become a little more reasonable,” he added.
It has become much easier to ideate and look at many companies and more so in midcap space where correction has been a bit sharper.
All eyes will now be on the earnings and whether they will be as per expectations and what kind of tone is set for the next financial year, said Badshah adding that if earnings are on track then we would be back in focus.
Sharing the rationale for being positive on Mishra Dhatu, he said it was a simple story with growth at reasonable price and it also fulfilled all our investment conditions. They have a monopoly in this business.
