IT sector is looking at aggressive hiring locally, says NASSCOM chairman Pravin Rao

US President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation suspending entry of workers on H-1B and some other non-immigrant visa programmes. The order comes into effect from Wednesday and will expire on December 31. Indian IT industry body NASSCOM has termed the suspension 'misguided' and harmful to the US economy. CNBC-VT18's Kritika Saxena spoke to NASSCOM chairman Pravin Rao to discuss the issue.
