70 percent of Infosys' US business will be from offshoring while 15-20 percent of the work will be shifted to centres and 15-10 percent will remain at the client side, said Ravi Kumar, president and deputy COO of the company.
“We are going to live in times where there is going to be a dichotomy of sorts. There is going to be offshoring of work and that is not going to go away. I do believe it is going to continue to remain as companies like Infosys continue to innovate on the life cycle of technology services,” he said while speaking to CNBC-TV18's Shereen Bhan.
“In the last two years, we have figured out that you could hire, train and deploy talent into projects," added Kumar.
"We think we have got this magic formula of training students from schools and creating a talent pool which doesn’t exist in the market," Kumar further mentioned.
