Toolkit Case: Disha Ravi remanded to 5-day police custody; here's what experts say

The Delhi Police has arrested one person in the sedition and criminal conspiracy case registered over a toolkit shared on the social media by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg in relation with the farmers' protest. Non-bailable warrants are out against two others.

The Delhi Police has arrested one person in the sedition and criminal conspiracy case registered over a toolkit shared on the social media by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg in relation with the farmers' protest. Non-bailable warrants are out against two others.
Disha Ravi, a 21 year old girl and an environmental activist from Bengaluru, has been remanded to five days police custody.
The police has alleged that Disha, a key conspirator in toolkit's formulation & dissemination was the one to share the document with Thunberg. Disha has denied the allegations. Meanwhile, opposition parties have condemned her arrest.
Also, non-bailable warrants have been issued against Nikita Jacob, an advocate, and Shantanu in connection with the toolkit case as well. Nikita Jacob has moved the Bombay High Court seeking an anticipatory bail.
