As India rolls out the second doses of COVID-19 vaccine, the country has crossed 8 million vaccinations over the weekend. It is also one of the fastest in the world to expand the inoculations, but much slower than their own targets.
Till now, nearly 60 lakh healthcare workers and 22.7 lakh frontline workers have received the first dose. Close to 24,561 healthcare workers have received the second dose 28 days after the first dose.
