The COVID-19 led lockdown has hit the Delhi based Ghazipur flower market hard. Flowers grown during the lockdown were completely wasted with farmers switching to growing vegetables to keep their business alive.
With the festive season upon us—demand is picking up but with no flights for imported flowers, the supply of flowers from domestic sources are lower than the demand.
