With data showing a dip in daily COVID-19 infections, the level of hesitancy among Indians to take the vaccine seems to be rising.
According to a LocalCircles survey, that received 18,000 responses, the level of hesitance has increased from 59 percent in November to 69 percent in December.
Respondents attribute side effects, the efficacy of the vaccine and a reduction in cases owing to herd or high immunity as the major reasons for the unwillingness to get a shot.
To discuss the findings of the report, Shereen Bhan spoke to Sachin Taparia, chairman & founder of LocalCircles.
