L&T Finance Services says liquidity eased up in Q4 compared to Q3

Updated : February 28, 2019 03:39 PM IST

After it raised non-convertible debentures (NCDs) amounting to Rs 1,500 crore, L&T Financial Services on Thursday said liquidity has eased up in the third quarter compared to the fourth quarter.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Dinanath Dubhashi, managing director and chief executive officer, said overall NCDs are 50 percent of the company's total funds. All the NCDs are from wholesale sources.

"There are no issues with respect to liquidity as abundant funds are available from banks and mutual funds, but these are wholesale funds and a company should also have retail funds and hence NCDs," Dubhashi said.
