Sharing his views on the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections 2019, the trends of which indicated that the Modi-led NDA was set for a massive victory, Saurabh Mukherjea of Marcellus Investment Managers said that the big private banks with good balance sheets will make a lot of money in the next couple of years.

"Two pockets in the Nifty which I think will run over the next 12 months... the first pocket is the top 4 private sector banks... the big four private sector banks with good balance sheets, good CASA franchises will make tons of money in the next couple of years. The other space is FMCG," said Mukherjea.
On infrastructure, he said, "Government spending on infrastructure in the first 3-4 years of the NDA government was actually quite handsome. I think we will do get back to that.
