The long-term spot volumes have been high and spot cargos were comparatively lesser because people have started utilising the capacity of Petronet LNG, said Prabhat Singh, MD & CEO of the company.
“Our plant, from the day it has got commissioned in Dahej, we tried to see that it operate more than 100% capacity,” said Singh.
The company do not want capacity to be lost anytime because once capacity lost, it’s lost forever, he added.
The capacity utilisation by Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has been higher, Singh said. "Therefore, there is a difference in topline and to that extent the bottomline could have been even higher, but we are happy with whatever we have got," added singh.
