Jharkhand sees highest power cuts with 45 hours cut in March alone

The government has set an ambitious target to make round the clock power  to all households by 2019. However, data compiled by the power ministry is projecting a dismal picture.

At least five states have witnessed power outage for more than 10 hours in in March, with Jharkhand seeing the highest power cuts for about 45 hours in March alone. Delhi was the state that saw the least number of hours in terms of power cuts.
